Jubouri calls to speed up the budget to provide for a vote
BAGHDAD / Obelisk: The head of the House of Representatives Saleem al-Jubouri, on Monday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee to expedite the provision of the draft budget law for a vote, while the House of Representatives likely to extend its meetings in order to vote on the bill if the Committee's report is complete.
Jubouri said in a statement issued on Monday, on the sidelines of a meeting with the President of the parliamentary finance committee, Ahmed Chalabi, said, "During the meeting they discussed the latest findings of the Committee regarding the final report of the budget bill."
Jubouri stressed "the need to accelerate the termination of all belongings in this regard for the purpose of presenting the project to a vote because of its significant impact affects the lives of citizens."
The President of the House of Representatives expressed the hope that "the end of its work over the next few days, explaining that" the House of Representatives may extend its meetings in order to vote on the bill if the Committee's report is complete. "
Parliamentary Finance Committee, announced on Sunday (January 25, 2015) that it will approve the budget for fiscal year 2015 on Thursday, showed that the deficit has been reduced to 21%.
