The Bank said in a statement received all Iraq IGN that "amount sold at auction price of the dollar today reached 98 million and 234 thousand dollar exchange rate 1166 DT to the dollar and with the participation of 20 banks".
He noted that "the quantity sold, cash reached 20 million and 730,000 dollars, and quantity sold as remittances reached 77 million 504 thousand dollars."
The statement said the Central Bank continues to buy and sell the dollar the price 1166 dinars, "Noting that" sale price of remittances 1187 dinar/us $, including the Central Bank and the Commission of 21 dinars to the dollar, with a cash price of $ 1190 dinar/us $, including the Central Bank and the Commission of 24 dinars to the dollar. "
It was noted down in the Central Bank's sales index in the past few days with more than $ 200 million since 17 of the month except for the month with sales of $ 224 million.

This decline has come along over Iraq in financial hardship and lack of liquidity due to lower imports because of falling global oil prices and the Government's efforts at austerity to meet the 2015 budget deficit of 25 trillion dinars.
