Abdul-Mahdi: reliance on oil and gas only generates unemployment and sagging, corruption and other sectors
{Baghdad: Euphrates news} oil Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi said Saturday that "dependence on oil and gas only generates unemployment and sagging, corruption and other sectors.
Abdul-Mahdi said in a profile with the site contact meeting {Facebook} "it is well known that oil and gas a little influence in moving the production factors and the generation of value added, and little influence in generating employment in our countries, but as they pump into the immediate financial resources come from the sale of raw materials on foreign markets which in turn constitute factors of underemployment and sagging and the corruption and the birth of the law and economic logic makes more sense to import material grown and manufactured nationally."
He said "there are other factors resulting from the dependence on oil and gas is the relinquishment of real as agriculture, industry, services and trade and" reinforce the State economy and monopoly at the expense of the national economy. "
The Iraq economy depends mainly on oil exports and low prices globally has led to an economic crisis which requires activation of other sectors including industry, agriculture and tourism to boost the State budget and ensure a new non-oil imports. Finished
