The Minister of Oil, Adil Abdul Mahdi, emphasized the need to upgrade the oil production in Kirkuk to face the upcoming challenges.
A statement by the Ministry of Oil received by AIN cited “The Minister arrived in Kirkuk province where he was received by Governor, Najm al-Din Kareem, and Provincial Council members.”
“The Minister visited oil fields in the province and checked the security protection for the oil fields targeted previously the terrorists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant,” he concluded. /End/
