MoT emphasizes importance of examining flour production

Baghdad (AIN) –The General Company of Grains Processing within the Ministry of Trade decided to obligate the private sector mills to establish a specialized laboratory to examine the flour produced from each mill.
A statement by the Ministry of Trade quoted the Director General of the Company, Ali Hashim, as saying on Wednesday "The Company decided that the laboratory should be established according to the specifications adopted by the Quality Control Department and to submit the examining reports periodically during production seasons.''
"The Ministry will re-evaluate the mills in order to exclude the old mills and forbid it from contracting with the Ministry,'' he added, stressing the importance of "following up the availability of environmental conditions in each mill.''
