Abadi replaces the Office of the Commander in Chief Security Council form Allawi but wider powers
Revealed to the Parliamentary Security Committee, that the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi replace "Office of the Commander in Chief" and a lecturer revive "the National Security Council," which was formed in the government of Iyad Allawi. Article (61 / V) of the Constitution provides that the House of Representatives with regard to "the approval of the appointment of the Chief of Staff of the Army, and his aides, and division commanders and above, and the intelligence chief, on the proposal of the Council of Ministers.
