Under the auspices of the President of the House of Representatives, Mr. Salim al concluded Thursday 05.02.2015 of the first international conference organized by the Committee on Economy and Investment parliamentary presence of Mr. Jawad al- Chairman of the Committee, ladies and gentlemen members of the committee, under the slogan "discreet investment law to achieve the goals of development and meet the ambitious investor" from in order to contribute to the improvement and development of the investment environment in Iraq.
He recommended the conference, which continued its two days of the adoption of proposals and recommendations that have been submitted by the participants chips work and assigned the executive and legislative authorities follow-up and the formation of a higher committee of the conference includes representatives of parliamentary committees and the National Commission for Investment and executive bodies and the private sector to work as a cell necessary for the implementation of the recommendations and proposals in addition to the overcome the obstacles related to the application of the investment law, as well as working on a semi-annual conference to follow up the fact investment and economic requirements.
And witnessed the closing session, which was held in Babylon Hotel in Baghdad in the presence of Oil Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi and Mr. Thamer Ghadhban Chairman of the advisers in the prime minister and a number of officials and representatives of the diplomatic corps, a review by the investment in the provincial investment projects completed bodies with the presentation of the most ready-made investment opportunities.
In his speech at the conference, Mr. Adel Abdul Mahdi, the oil minister stressed the importance of providing investment opportunities and work to develop the oil sector and the need for the legislation of laws that facilitate the process of investment in refineries and gas sectors.
