The parliamentary committee in the House of Representatives arrived Sunday to Arbil and met with President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Barzani and discussed with him the problems of this sector recent agreement between Arbil and Baghdad regarding the export of oil from wells in the region through the oil pipeline, which connects the province of Kurdistan Turkish port of Ceyhan.
At a joint press conference committees held building Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Chairman of the Oil and Energy Committee in the House of Representatives Qubool Bahadli said that the two committees have agreed to strengthen cooperation and joint action in the control and follow-up legislation Aallazma laws to regulate the relations in the field of oil and gas and natural resources within the country, adding that the note contains the the following points: access, supervision and follow-up on the developments of the conventions and trivialities between the government Alathaah and the Kurdistan Regional Government in the field of oil and gas and work on sustainability and to identify the difficulties faced by the joint cooperation of the laws of the oil and gas and other laws relevant to the work of these committees and participate in the development programs in the field of oil, gas and energy and hold a joint meeting between the two committees and hearings own bills and other matters relating to the work of these committees.
For his part, the Oil and Energy Committee in the House of Representatives member Ibrahim Bahr al-Ulum that this agreement will pave the legislation of the oil and gas in Iraq, which has remained since 2007 in the process of deliberations and the differences between the political parties law, and added that there is a vision in harmony among the members of the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary in Iraq and cravings in order to communicate with its counterpart in the Kurdistan region of resolving these problems in order to see that the deciduous legislative oil and gas law and the law of distribution of financial resources.
