BAGHDAD / NINA/ Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri said on Monday that the parliament would reject any legislation from the government that the blocs do not agree on it.
He said in a news conference today that the rejection of any legislation of laws reflects the exercise of the constitutional right of the House of Representatives and that does not mean the failure of the parliament.
Al-Jubouri said in response to a question by the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / about the lack of political consensus to ensure legal legislation of the National Guard, Accountability and Justice: “We have the confidence to proceed with the process of law agreed upon by the legislation, not the paragraphs that are added, which is outside the normal pattern and political approach and does not comply with the principles of political reconciliation and harmony.
He pointed out that “the differences is a normal matter and there are mechanisms to resolve we will adopt in the parliament and we will conduct intensive meetings among the political parties for the purpose of standing on the controversial points in the laws.
