Dozens of daily-wage workers in the municipality of Nasiriyah Directorate, Wednesday, in protest at unpaid wages for several months.
The reporter said, "time", said dozens of daily-wage workers in the municipality of Nasiriyah Directorate demonstrated, today, in front of the headquarters of the Office of the City Hall to demand that the local government to intervene in order to pay overdue salaries for several months due to lack of financial allocations.
The correspondent added that the municipality had told workers to cut salaries to seven thousand dinars per day under the pretext of state austerity and low oil prices, noting that the demonstrators called for the cancellation decision to reduce their salaries and raise wages and improve their living conditions.
