The source said in an interview for "Alsumaria News", "The Ministry of Oil and Oil and Energy Committee in Parliament agreed to hold a meeting on Sunday about the study and discussion of important laws, including the bill to determine producing provinces and non-oil producing share projects."
The source, who asked not to be named, said: "The meeting will also include discussion of the draft second amendment to the law of private investment for oil filter No. 64 of 2007 Act, and follow up the implementation of the oil agreement between the province and the federal government."
The cabinet decided, in (2 December 2014), the approval of the oil agreement between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, which provides for delivery of the region at least 250 thousand barrels of oil a day to the federal government for the purpose of export, after reaching the Kurdish delegation headed by Nechirvan Barzani, the Iraqi government with an agreement on the region's share in the budget and export of oil, which will be the region's share in the budget by 17%.
