The US administration welcomed the Security Council resolution on draining sources of economic and financial resources for terrorist organizations in Iraq and Syria.
The official State Department spokeswoman Jennifer Sacchi said Washington welcomes the release of the UN Security Council with a 2199 figure which was voted unanimously yesterday, noting that the decision to carry several tools included sanctions and other binding measures to weaken the ability of Daash and Nasra and other groups linked to al-Qaeda, which will be subject to UN sanctions because of the continued brutal and destructive approach.
