The Minister of State in the Iraqi government Saman Abdullah, according to the official website of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan, that a senior delegation from the Kurdistan Region, headed by Barzani Prime Minister will travel (today) Sunday to Baghdad to examine and discuss the outstanding problems and the reasons that have prevented Baghdad from sending the Kurdistan Region salaries and ways to address them.
The delegation will also discuss with Iraqi officials technically problems concerning oil agreement between Arbil and Baghdad.
And saw the Iraqi Minister of State that this visit will be an important factor to address the problems between Erbil and Baghdad, and the minister is expected this week sent the region's share of the budget for the month of January by the Baghdad of 583 billion Iraqi dinars.
The Nechirvan Barzani, president of the Kurdistan Regional Government said in a statement recently that there was a "misunderstanding" between Baghdad and Erbil on the recent agreement between the two parties, pointing out that Baghdad believes that Arbil can export more oil than the amount agreed upon between the parties quantity.
The Baghdad and Erbil has sealed a preliminary agreement early last December after a bitter struggle on the management of oil wealth and that includes the Kurdistan Regional Government to export the amount of 250 thousand barrels per day of oil fields in favor of Baghdad.
It also includes an agreement to export 300 000 barrels per day by the federal province of Kirkuk fields of government through the oil pipeline owned by the Government of the Territory line.
