World Bank approves the request of the water resources to increase funding for its projects

Announced the Regional Director of the World Bank Stephen Okenberg, during a meeting with Minister of Water Resources Mohsen al-Shammari, the approval of the ministry's request to increase funding for their projects.
According to a ministry statement on Wednesday, the agency received all of Iraq [where], a copy of the "al-Shammari, received the Regional Director of the World Bank Stephen Okenberg."
The statement quoted al-Shammari said, "It must be the bank that works with the ministry more broadly," adding, "We look forward to the modernization of irrigation projects and the development of cooperation between the bank and the ministry."
Asked the World Bank to "transfer its experiences to Iraq in the field of water and provide technical and technical support," calling on him to "increase funding for projects of the ministry," explaining that "the ministry is developing an investment map."
For his part, expressed the Regional Director of the World Bank, according to the statement, his willingness to cooperate and meet the demand of Ministers with regard to increasing Altamoal.anthy
