Organized by the Faculty of Business Economics at the University of Mesopotamia scientific symposium on the effectiveness of the central bank in the control of the banking sector in Iraq, with the participation of the Department of release and cabinets in the Iraqi Central Bank and a number of specialists in the management of banks and Tdrisien from the University of Mesopotamia.
The seminar aims to clarify the statement and the importance and the impact of the Iraqi Central Bank control over the banking sector in Iraq and its reflection on the Iraqi economy and the statement of the Iraqi Central Bank approved a mechanism in the control of banks operating in Iraq and determine the effectiveness of the Iraqi Central Bank in the control of the banking sector.
The Dean of the Faculty of Business Economics Prof. heat of Adnan Zaki, the main focus of this seminar was to stabilize the role and effectiveness of the Iraqi Central Bank as the main responsible for the cash economy in the country was highlighted on the control mechanisms followed by the central bank to facilitate and assess the performance of the Iraqi banking sector .
She Dr. Zaki, touched on what is traditional and non-traditional capabilities own in front of the Central Bank in the activation mechanisms and proposals it deems appropriate for the bank to increase its oversight role on the credit of the Iraqi private sector.
The symposium included two axes touched first axis to display analytical criticism of the Central Bank of Iraq and the banking sector in Iraq, to the Director of Issue Department and cabinets in the Iraqi Central Bank in terms of reality and ambition and challenges the legal accountant Mr. Ahsan Shomran Yasiri, and discuss the second axis in the analysis of the mechanism of the impact and effectiveness of the Iraqi Central Bank Supervision on the banking sector in Iraq and its impact on the Iraqi economy to the head of the economics department at the College of Banking Business Economics at the University of Mesopotamia Dr. Omar Ali Kamel.
