the Executive Committee of the e-government of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) revealed the launch of electronic networking among Member States as well as the launch of Project Gateway Gulf e-government services in the month of March.
The Committee discussed at the beginning of the meeting in Doha yesterday initial list of services to be included in the GCC e-government portal at a preliminary stage, as well as another necessary to launch the networking between the GCC countries and the steps in the framework of the strategic guideline for e-government in the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Mr. Hassan explained that the Executive Committee of e-government, which wraps up today's meeting will also discuss all matters of strategy pilot e-government in the GCC countries and joint initiatives and projects, pointing out that the networking between almost ready GCC countries where the infrastructure for e-government development and also creating a legal and legislative frameworks for the completion of e-government.
He explained that the services will be made available in the portal Gulf related to services provided by the Ministries of the Interior, for example, as well as education, health and the environment where they will be coordination with the concerned authorities provided for these services to be provided through the gate and then work to develop and add more services at a later stage.
