Amended Law No. 21 enter into force within weeks

Wasit {Alforat} -MP Abdul-Karim Al-Naqeeb of the Citizen bloc assured that "the amended Law No. 21 will enter into force in the coming few weeks where some ministerial powers will be given to the local governments.
MP Al-Naqeeb met on Saturday with Governor of Wasit, where he stressed "all the MPs agreed on the need to apply the amended Law, No. 21.
This law will enter into force within few weeks. However, some governorates have already used their powers in this regard, especially in the municipal, health and education spheres, Naqeeb added.
