Zubaidi, the World Bank: Support for transportation projects

The statement said that "the full moon praised the cooperation of the Ministry of Transport in this field, stressing the desire of the World Bank to support the private sector and enable it to participate in the management and rehabilitation of the Iraqi transport sector."
The Transport Minister Baqer al-Zubaidi has put forward a draft of Imam Hussein Airport earlier investment.
Zubaidi said at a joint news conference with the governor of Karbala, Akil Turaihi on November 30, 2014 that the Imam Hussein, the airport will be one of the main strategic airports in the region, where he will receive more than 15 million visitors annually.
