Communications plans to deliver Internet services through landline Phone

Shafaq News / The Ministry of Communications said that it has begun to move in coordination with private sector companies to deliver Internet services via landlines phones after the introduction of new programs use all optical cable added later service access to satellite channels through internet.Minister of Communications , Hassan al-Rashed told “Shafaq News", that "The Ministry is currently working to involve the private sector companies in the provision of services by photosynthesis cable and the delivery of online services for citizens," adding that "the private sector companies compete under the conditions determined by the ministry."Rashid added that "landline phone in its current form, which provides voice communication service is not feasible, but it will be important if added other online services that we are developing in the next stages by adding a provision of Space Forces via the Internet without the need for previous method service (Satellite).The minister said that "local and foreign companies will present their offers to the ministry, and the contracts will be concluded with the companies investing in a manner and in accordance with the laws in force, or creating new legislations if needed."Zain Iraq and Cork and Asian companies acquires mobile communications file in Iraq since 2003 along with other small companies.
