Daash destroys traces Khorsabad east of Mosul

An official security source in Nineveh police, said on Sunday that the organization Daash oldest on the bombing of archaeological areas in Khorsabad area 20 km east of Mosul.
The source said the network Roudao media, "the oldest organization Daash Sunday afternoon on the destruction of archaeological Khorsabad area." Which dates back to the effects of the Assyrians by more than two centuries after trapping most of the areas in the city
The armed group has already hijacked the two archaeological sites registered on the list of UNESCO heritage sites and two Nimrod and Hatra (Kingdom of Araba), both located in northern Iraq.
And Khorsabad founded as the capital of the new kingdom of Assyria in the time of Sargon II, shortly after he took the throne in 721 BC.
