Iraqi Council of Ministers decides to stop the instructions issued by the Customs Authority

Iraqi cabinet sources in the CBI said today decided to suspend the application issued by the Customs Authority instructions regarding obsolete tax collection also stopped the central bank action, which came in response to requests from the Ministry of Finance.
The sources, who requested anonymity said a cabinet was crucial to prevent the collapse of the national currency after a sharp decline in the exchange rate against the dollar during the past few days.
The Cabinet decision after the start of the Customs Authority and the Central Bank and the taxes new measures to collect taxes through the Central Bank of direct private banks without relying on force in all countries of the world and which provides tax collector through border crossings by the General Administration of Customs and the General Authority for tax base.
The same sources expressed the hope that contributes to the cabinet's decision to stop the implementation of these instructions to prevent the decline in the value of the national currency and the sudden rise in the prices of food and basic in the Iraqi market during the past two days.
The Transparency Association warned last night to the seriousness of the situation and called on the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank to decisive action to protect the national currency and to stop the rapid decline in value.
