Tomorrow Press / Baghdad: Chairman of the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary asserted Kurdistan Alliance Ares Abdullah, on Wednesday, that the government of Iraq's Kurdistan region is ready to make up for oil exports, indicating that early next April will reach the exports of the region from oil to more than 550 000 barrels per day.
He said Erez for "tomorrow's Press," that "there is a lack of commitment from both sides in the oil agreement," adding that "the parties in Baghdad and Erbil reaffirm their commitment to the Convention, but the government did not send dues to the province and the provincial government has not been able to send the agreed quantity with Baghdad."
He said the Chairman of the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary "The current export oil from the region now stands at 234 000 barrels of Kirkuk because only 150 000 barrels have been issued, in addition to technical problems in the region that have hindered export previous months."
The Cabinet decided earlier, the approval of the oil agreement between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, which provides for the delivery of the Kurdistan region of at least 250 thousand barrels of oil a day to the federal government for the purpose of export, as well as the export of 300 000 barrels of Kirkuk across the region to Turkish port of Ceyhan.
