Kurdish lawmaker calls on the Minister of Finance to spend 400 billion dinars accrued to the region

Tomorrow Press / Baghdad: The member of the Finance Committee for the Kurdistan Alliance Masood Haider, on Tuesday, Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari to exchange 400 billion dinars accrued to the region, stressing that the budget law gives full authority to the minister regardless employees' salaries.
Haider said for "tomorrow Press", "The Finance Minister has absolute authority to pay the dues of citizens, including salaries," he said, adding that "the region issued 250 000 barrels in February and handed over to SOMO, according to the mechanism agreed upon."
Haider demanded the government and the Ministry of Finance to "exchange amount between 350 to 400 billion dinars accrued for the month of February," noting that "This is the prerogative of the Minister of Finance and cashed it."
The agreement between Baghdad and Erbil by which to launch $ 500 million for the salaries of the staff of the Kurdistan Regional Government to put the last 250 thousand barrels of oil per day at the disposal of the federal government in Baghdad until the expansion of the agreement the provisions of a new visit planned to the head of the Kurdistan Regional Government Nechirvan Barzani to Baghdad.
