Central bank governors of the Gulf Cooperation Council are seeking anti-money laundering tomorrow in Doha

Riyadh - 17-3 (KUNA) - The General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf said here today that the Committee of Governors of Monetary and central banks institutions in the GCC countries will discuss at a scheduled meeting in the Qatari capital Doha on developments in the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism, the countries of the Council's efforts.
According to the General Secretariat Council in a press statement that the committee will be discussed at the meeting of the 61 recommendations of the committees and the teams concerned topics supervision and control over the banking system on the guiding criteria of bank statements for the control of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The statement added that he will be dealt with the exchange of information between credit information centers in the GCC countries and consider the issues of payments systems related mechanism developments in the functioning of the project study linking payment systems strategy in the GCC countries.
It also will discuss the arrangements for the establishment of the bank 12 of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) conference, which will be hosted by the Sultanate of Oman in the second half of this year. (End) m o / n o p
