Najafi announced the beginning of the countdown to the Battle of Mosul

Denied the governor of Nineveh province Liberation of Iraq any direct link to Turkey's current preparations for the battle to liberate Mosul, stressing the continuation of the exercises taking place in the camps inside the Kurdistan region.
Nujaifi said in an interview with the newspaper "Middle East" of London published on Wednesday: "The preparations for the battle to liberate Mosul reached advanced stages, one of the two types, military and civilian,
as the civil dimension of the battle is just as important if not more in certain aspects of the preparations on the military side especially in terms of grip and maintain the security of the city and not fall into the big mistakes that can affect the rest of the pages of the battle. "
Najafi explained that the military side in the battle depends on the readiness of the Ministry of Defence, both on the military front, which will take part in the editing process or weapons that must be provided for this battle.
In response to a question on the Turkish role in the Battle of Mosul, Najafi said that "Mosul is completely different at this level as we we wanted to be an Iraqi pure no role to one where only the sons of volunteers, and the people of Iraq from military forces,
" stressing that the Turkish role does not exceed Send weapons that come through the Ministry of Defense, because Turkey is dealing with the central official authorities nor Iraq supplying arms directly except for the presence of trained Turks as they prepare dozens,
adding that Turkey is a NATO member state is committed to well-known in this context contexts but not like Iran to have a guard revolutionary task of fighting out of bounds.
And on the zero hour at the level of the Battle of Mosul, Najafi said that "the countdown has already begun and may not exceed a few months or even weeks, but many things depend on what is happening in Tikrit".
