Stressing the Importance that They Take Part in the Liberation of their Regions and Take Control over their Land, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Calls on the Shabak to Unite their Positions and Reinforce the National Unity

Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stressed the importance that the Shabak be part of the security forces and the popular crowd to liberate their regions, provide care to the displaced people and take control over their land after clearing them from the ISIS criminal gangs, as well as the importance that they adopt one single position under the national reconciliation and reinforce the relations with the other Iraqi national powers, expressing his support for the national rights of the Shabak to live in safety and stability within the Iraqi social tissue in the province of Nineveh.
This came during a meeting held between his Eminence on Tuesday, 17/3/2015 and the MP and General Secretary of Al Shabak Democratic Assembly, Hanin Qadu, accompanied by a delegation of Shabak notables.
For his part, Qadu said the delegation listened to the good viewpoints of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim about joining forces to fight the criminal ISIS, explaining that a Shabak force is participating today with their other Iraqi fellow partners in the liberation of their lands and taking control over them after liberation. He also said that he conveyed the salutations of the Shabak people to his Eminence for his defense of the rights of all the components of the Iraqi people.
