Economic Commission discusses the support of private banks and exculpatory TBI

(Independent) .. discussed the Committee on Economic Affairs eighth Bgelsthe D.roژ Nuri Shaways headed by Deputy Prime Minister and the subject of civil support private banks because of their role in the reconstruction and development of the country.
The Committee discussed these banks to give more space in the process of economic transformation and market-oriented economy and contribute to the process of increasing GDP ratio by supporting private sector activity.
The Committee decided that the Central Bank of Iraq and the Iraqi Trade Bank to provide liquidity to banks and civil discreet that suffer from a lack of liquidity as a result of the faltering customers to pay their dues to those banks in return for those banks to provide guarantees and bank bailouts acceptable to both sides.
The Committee also discussed the subject of banking policy pursued by the Trade Bank of Iraq, particularly the issue of lending to the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Central Bank of Iraq in the region as the Commission found as banking operations of a financial professional and there is no loan granted by the Trade Bank of Iraq to the two mentioned.
She stressed that the bank in light of the large financial potential it all financing activities continue to enjoy its high confidence being the main financier of the public sector trade.
Committee Wort it is imperative that the State House of Representatives to take responsibility not to allow the promotion of rumors that affect the reputation and financial standing among global banks, and the Trade Bank of Iraq sending accounts and statements of Finance audited to the relevant authorities in accordance with the principles of disclosure and transparency.
