Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Museum opens Nasiriyah after a quarter century of closing

Opened by Minister of Tourism and Antiquities just Fahd Alhurcab, Thursday, Nasiriyah Museum after a quarter century of closing, with the display of more than 600 relics in seven halls of the museum and distributed to the historical eras. The head of the provincial council adviser Dhi Qar for Tourism and Antiquities Amer Abdul Razzaq in an interview with Alsumaria News , "The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities just Fahd Alhurcab opened this morning, Nasiriyah Museum after the close it for nearly 25 years after the 1991 uprising," noting that "more 600 relics exhibited inside the museum was deposited in the National Museum since the events of 1991 " He said Abdul Razak, that "those pieces and distributed to the seven exhibition halls on the ground museum floor and on the basis of the centuries that have passed by the province during that period," he said, adding that "the halls were distributed among prehistoric eras Sumerian, Babylonian and urban Assyrian and Islamic. It is noteworthy that the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities just Fahd Alhurcab confirmed in (November 23, 2014), that the opening of Nasiriyah museum to visitors will be during the next two months, and pledged to return the artifacts discovered in the province.
