Jumaili: Our goal is to raise the economic capabilities of the country

said Planning Minister Dr. Salman al-Jumaili said the economic situation in the country is still well-being has the capacity and the wealth of human resources is good, but he also said that the problem facing the economy in the current situation is how to resource management and harnessed to bring new sources of funding through the activation of various development sectors of the private sector, agriculture, industry and tourism.
This came when he received the British ambassador to Iraq to discuss a number of issues of common interest and increase the volume of cooperation between the two countries.
He added that the economic file is suffering from a crisis resulting from the global economic crisis as a result of lower oil prices. Pointing out that the investment side in the budget of 2015 affected nearly clear in this crisis, and that the budget bears a heavy burden as a result of the magnitude of the size of government spending, particularly in the operational side .. stressing that directed the government at the present time, by relying on the Five-Year Development Plan 2013- 2017 government program from 2014 to 2018, is to find an effective sources of funding to support the national economy
and called Jumaili United Kingdom to assist Iraq in the area of investment for the implementation of large projects affected by the economic situation of the new, explaining that the implementation of the planned investment projects require 250 billion dollars to complete.
of For his part, the British ambassador expressed his country's readiness to provide all kinds of support and assistance to Iraq in economic and humanitarian fields, noting that the British government has provided humanitarian aid to displaced Iraqis amounted to more than 39 million pounds.
He noted that the reconstruction in the liberated areas, the process is very important and requires a lot of effort and money as well as the adoption of quality in this aspect.
