Mohammed: There are steps followed by the government in order to cope with the deficit, including going to borrow from the International Monetary Fund

Parliamentary Finance Committee announced Thursday, about the intention of the government to borrow billion from the International Monetary Fund to bridge the budget deficit.
The committee member said Abdul Qader Mohammed told the "Qurtas News" that "the budget year 2015 brought with it a lot of problems, especially as it coincided with the financial distress of Iraq and subjected to fierce attack by Daash gangs of terror," pointing out that "the government and parliament are discussing ways to respond to any stumbled faces a budget. "
He added that " there are steps followed by the government in order to cope with the deficit, including going to borrow from the International Monetary Fund, "noting that" Iraq has experience with IMF loans that helped solve a lot of problems and financial crises. "
He added that "there is a new direction for the government, which is borrowing from the IMF limits billion and perhaps more, in order to cover the budget deficit for 2015, as well as harnessed to some of the projects, especially the service."
