Parliamentary Finance announces the formation of an investigative committee on foreign currency smuggling abroad

BAGHDAD
A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee MP Masood Haider, on Thursday, for the formation of an investigative committee in agreement with the Ministry of Finance on the hard currency smuggling out of Iraq in the past years.
Haider said that "the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives hosted yesterday, Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari, and the Governor of the Central Bank acting on the Keywords and director of the Tax Authority and the General Customs and director of the anti-money laundering on hard currency smuggling out of Iraq in the past years," noting that "the government will take strict measures to prevent this phenomenon. "
He stressed that "it was agreed with the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank on the formation of an investigative committee miniature of the Finance Committee is composed of five members of the Finance Committee," noting that "the Commission will hold meetings with the Presidency and the Integrity Committee and the Committee on the economy and investment to take the required action in this regard."
He pointed out that "the Minister of Finance confirmed its full support for the formation of this committee and follow-up will be all the information and data required documents recording."
