Abadi: an emergency security meeting to address the burning of Tikrit

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi held an emergency meeting with security leaders to discuss the latest developments in the city of Tikrit, Salahuddin province north of Iraq, calling on the security forces to the obligation to protect the property of the state and its citizens after the expulsion of the organization "Daash" which last week fighters.
A statement by the Office of al-Abadi, said on Saturday that al-Abadi student during a meeting with security chiefs, on Friday evening, to "ensure that the obligation to protect the property of the state and citizens, and the arrest of the bands that are trying to offend achieved victories against al Daash terrorist."
He pointed to the need to accelerate the restoration of services and the work of government departments in Tikrit; in preparation for the re-population of displaced them.
The prime minister also called for the need to be prepared to complete the liberation of the rest of the areas controlled by the "Daash" organization in Salah al-Din, and the entire territory of Iraq "terrorists".
The Abadi meeting with Iraqi security leaders, after a steady drumbeat of news about the Shi'ite militias government forces participated in the battle for the restoration of "Tikrit" from the grip of the "Daash", looting and the looting and burning of houses in the city.
Joint forces seized control of the Iraqi army and police forces and the Federal popular crowd (Shiite forces fighting alongside the government) to the city of Tikrit, last Tuesday, after fierce battles fought with al "Daash" over the past month.
He ordered Abadi on Friday, the security forces to address the cases of vandalism committed by gangs in the city of Tikrit, and the arrest of anyone who commits such acts.
Said Ahmed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Chairman Salahuddin province, on Friday, that he had left the province, accompanied by the governor, Raed al-Jubouri, in protest against the acts of theft and looting carried out by factions of the popular crowd forces in Tikrit.
Karim explained in an earlier statement that came out of the province after the occurrence of such violations, and do not put an end to it by the central government.
