Shell agrees to buy BG Group for $ 70 billion

Royal Dutch Shell announced that it had agreed to buy BG Group for 47 billion pounds ($ 70 billion) in the first merger giant oil sector in ten years.
The companies said in a joint statement that under the deal, Shell will pay 383 pence in cash and 0.4454 shares of Class B in the company in exchange for all shares of PJ
The statement added that this represents a premium of about 52 percent on the average share trading price in the 90 days.
The outcome deal for BG shareholders owning about 19 percent of the new group resulting from the merger.
