BAGHDAD
Information Office of the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, Saturday, announced that the Prime Minister will travel on Monday to Washington at the head of a senior government delegation at the invitation of US President Barack Obama, noting that al-Abadi will discuss in Washington, coordination and cooperation between Iraq and the United States in the war on "terrorism."
He said the office's spokesman Sabri Saad "Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi will travel on Monday to Washington on an official visit at the head of a senior government delegation," noting that "the visit comes at the invitation of US President Barack Obama."
Sabri added that "al-Abadi will meet US President Barack Obama and other senior officials to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and their coordination and cooperation in the war on terrorism and developments in the security and political situation in Iraq and the region."
