Parliamentary Energy: Region issued large quantities of oil in contrast to the ministry figures

The Commission on oil and energy parliamentary Saturday, that the province exported large quantities of oil in contrast to figures supplied by the Ministry of Oil.
Said committee member Zahir al-Abadi said, "has no right to the Kurdistan region to increase oil production without the knowledge of the federal government", aggravating the need to "respect the Kurdish constitution being Aukd that oil belongs to the Iraqi people."
He explained that he "must pass the quantities exported from the region via the Company (SOMO), to take advantage of all the sons of Iraq," stressing "Otherwise the region will be presented the same legal issue and will increase the dispute with Baghdad."
He stressed the Oil and Energy Committee member, said "the central government is committed to reversing the Kurdistan oil agreement are not yet committed to the agreement," explaining that "the oil agreement needs to be a lot of debates and discussions".
