Biden: Kurds retracted its demand for independence from Iraq

BAGHDAD / Source News / The Vice President of the United States Joe Biden, that he repeatedly discussed the issue of the independence of Kurdistan with the President of the Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, past, saying: "Kurds free from that requirement at the present time."
He said Biden, in a speech at the National Defense University in Washington, that "the Kurds felt that their independence from Iraq will not be a viable option, and they do not want to come a terrorist state and become a neighbor to them," in reference to the "Islamic state" announced by the organization Daash.
And saw Joe Biden, that "Daash that tried to divide Iraq and the establishment of an Islamic caliphate, contributed to the contrary, in the unification of the Iraqis."
Vice President of the United States and cited a number of examples to support his point of view, explaining that "the oil agreement between Erbil and Baghdad, came after a battle Daash, although the differences between the two sides that lasted for many years."
The word comes Biden, before a planned visit by Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to the United States of America.
