Ebadi calls for an increase in oil production and stimulate economic sectors

The statement quoted the Prime Minister, confirmed during the meeting, "the importance of follow-up economic and financial situation in order to ensure the continuation of the pace of economic activity, despite the significant decline in oil revenues," and urged the need to "adopt a set of procedures to ensure the achievement of the planned rates have to increase oil production, and activate the various sectors of the economy. "
The statement, that "the members of the Committee raised what has been achieved during the past three months, from the technical and financial procedures to address the challenges facing the country," and that they "examined the ways of activating the movement of cash to secure liquidity sufficient to meet the obligations contained in the state budget for the current year of 2015".
The meeting also discussed, according to the statement, "State employees' salaries in the provinces of Anbar, Salahuddin and Nineveh, was emphasized to ensure the delivery of salaries in the light of the audit procedures adopted by the Ministry of Finance to be completed so soon afterwards."
The cabinet decided, in (the twentieth of January 2015), the formation of a crisis cell headed by the prime minister, Haider Abadi, and the membership of finance ministers and oil and planning, as well as the Governor of the Central Bank and economic advisor to the prime minister, to set priorities for the government and the doors of the exchange and to reduce expenses and increase resources Finance, with the help of experts and specialists.
Iraq has suffered from a severe financial crisis as a result of lower oil prices nearly 60 percent compared to what it was last summer, as well as the repercussions of the face (Daash).
