Jubouri announce reconsider the effects of laws and calls for the formation of the team investigating the involvement of international actors in stolen

The head of the House of Representatives Saleem al-Jubouri, on Wednesday, the Committee of Tourism and Antiquities to form a parliamentary research team to investigate the involvement of international actors in the theft of Iraqi antiquities, while noting that the parliament is seeking to re-examine the laws pertaining to the protection of antiquities.
Jubouri said in a speech during a symposium held by the committees of Tourism and Culture, the Parliamentary entitled (our monuments from smuggling to destruction), the parliament building and attended by "time," that "the Committee of Tourism and Antiquities parliamentary form a research team to investigate the involvement of international actors stealing our monuments and work to establish claims international in case it is proved that, "calling for action to restore Iraqi antiquities wherever they are being smuggled illegally and this is contrary to international regulations and laws applicable omitted."
Jubouri said that "the House of Representatives shall bear an important duty to protect the relics and reduce tampering omitted," noting that "this duty requires to reconsider the laws that address these issues, modify, and raising the ceiling of the sanctions, which lies on the owners of the crimes to which they relate."
He called on Speaker of the House "will take a government to all measures related to the protection and prevention of the effects of overtaking them by whatever means and tighten inspection procedures at border crossings, as well as the protection of land where drilling operations are located."
