Iraq calls for the return of stolen effects and according to the international decision

demanded Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, on Friday, the international community to help Iraq restore its stolen antiquities in accordance with Security Council resolution 2199.
He said al-Jaafari, in a speech at the Protection of Heritage and Antiquities Asian Forum and transfer of the Information Office that "the suffering of the heritage in Iraq at the hands of Daash of looting of cultural and smuggling of all kinds of archaeological sites, museums, libraries gangs .. everything is like stocks culture, and knowledge is the target of Daash before; so is the insistence on the destruction of the global culture; it represents the diversity of human culture and the basis of peaceful coexistence. "
He said al-Jaafari that "every trace of human civilization is a fount participants; and then target Daash; to break down the sources of human culture, and this loss can not be compensated for Iraq, and for all of humanity."
He stressed the need "to address through effective measures in accordance with Security Council resolution No. 2199, which has become an anchor in international legitimacy, and that Member States need to return stolen antiquities to Iraq."
