WBG President to Abadi: We support economic reformation

The President of the World Bank Group, Jim Yong Kim, assured through a meeting with prime minister Haider Abadi that the bank will support the economic and financial reformations in Iraq.
The media office of prime ministe reported in a statement received by AIN, on Friday that “Abadi received Kim, in his residence in Washington, discussing the economic and financial situations, the challenges that face Iraq, the support by the bank and its contribution in funding a number of projects in Iraq.”
Kim, according to the statement, expressed “the bank’s complete support to Iraq and his personal follow up to support Iraq in different fields; electricity, water, infrastructures and urgent projects in the liberated areas.” /End/
