Iraq holds talks with the World Bank and the u.s. Treasury's financial crisis

Twilight news/Iraqi Finance Ministry said Sunday that an Iraqi delegation was in Washington for talks with the World Bank and the us Treasury on the financial crisis in Iraq caused by low oil prices.
The Ministry said in a statement and response to "twilight news that Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari and the Governor of the Central Bank and Finance Ministry delegation and Ambassador of Iraq in Washington Saturday held technical discussions with the Executive Director of the Iraq Programme at the World Bank, Dr. Mirza Hassan and Iraq at the World Bank Group members.
During the discussions to review development programs implemented by the World Bank in Iraq.
The Iraqi side stressed the need for Iraq to targeted programmes in vital pieces such as energy, electricity and the need to set priorities. He also called for the inclusion of World Bank projects in the budget plan in the country.
He is scheduled to visit Iraq soon, high level delegation and under the guidance of the President of the World Bank Group to keep abreast of the needs of the displaced and assess the contribution of the World Bank in the reconstruction of the liberated areas of daash and immediate financial aid allocation proposal.
At another meeting in the headquarters of the World Bank presented a set of World Bank experts in economic and financial policies and the implementation of the budgets of the Iraqi economy and liquidity pressures on budget and financial reforms and management required.
The expert group conducted a comparative study with severe financial crises experienced by both Argentina and Turkey already.
The Iraqi delegation also held discussions at the IMF discussions with a delegation from the us Treasury, led by Ramin tolói Treasury international financial policy and William Warren Macdonald Deputy Assistant Minister for technical assistance policies and a number of senior officials and experts from the Treasury Department.
And examine and review issues of annual spring meetings of the IMF and the World Bank and the State of the economy and the challenges facing the country's financial crisis and the Government's plans and programmes to overcome them.
The Iraqi delegation presented a number of proposals and technical matters on the u.s. side for technical and economic assistance to Iraq.
The delegation welcomed the United States ' support for Iraq from world financial institutions and its willingness to provide technical assistance to the Ministry of finance and the Iraqi financial institutions.
