Cabinet to reconsider pricing power and form a committee to develop investment strategies [Expanded]

Council of Ministers decided to reconsider its decision in the application of new rates for wages electric power consumption, and form a committee to develop strategies and mechanisms for investment.

1. The Council of Ministers confirms its commitment to support the poor and low-income people in the community with regard to pricing Electricity and his goal is to stop the waste of electricity, which leads to deprive these classes of service, so the Council of Ministers decided to reconsider their pricing to support these basic classes in society, and the agricultural and industrial sector is still supported by the Ministry of Electricity.
2. The formation of a committee of cell crisis and added it all from the Investment Authority and the Central Bank and the experts and the Ministry of Electricity, headed by the Prime Minister shall establish strategies and mechanisms for investment and referred to in Article 16 of the general budget of the Federal Republic of Iraq for the financial year / 2015. 3. formation of a committee chaired by the Ministry of Defence and the membership of the Ministry of Transport and Investment Authority and the Municipality of Baghdad to determine the space required for the base of air safety for dual-use [civil and military.
4. Approval of the postponement of the payment of the loan amount to the Ministry of Electricity under the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 314 for the year 2014 to 2016 and an interest rate of 2%, due to the limited financial allocations to the ministry above for the year / 2015 and the obligations and the fact that the loan is the duty of repayment with interest on 01.07.2015, which represents an additional burden on the budget and its inability to complete its obligations.

Approval of the draft ratification of the partnership agreement for cultural, scientific and technical cooperation and for the development between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the French Republic, signed in Paris on 16/11/2009 law, and forwarded to the House of Representatives, according to the provisions of Articles 61 / I and item 80 / item II of the Constitution.
