Sheikh Mohammed calls Kurdish press day to install the foundations of democracy in Kurdistan

Said Sheikh Mohammed, in a statement seen by Alsumaria News , "The freedom of expression is a measure of separation between the power of democracy and repressive regimes," and expressed hope that "the occasion station for progress and development in the Kurdish press space and ensure freedom over respect for journalistic work."
He stressed Sheikh Mohammed, the importance to "be on the Kurdish press an opportunity to stand against the bad attempts of threat and intimidation and violence aim is to impede the progress of this holy work", calling for "the need to spread the culture of accepting the other opinion and install other foundations of democracy in the region."
He added that "officials should make efforts to protect freedom of expression, and more than that they should be the protectors and defenders of the press and the family fully press firmly, in order to prove to the world that we are the people of the Kurds in love freedom and respect differences of opinion."
He pointed Sheikh Mohammed, to that "If the press task Kurdish past, is to keep the language and identity Kurdish against attempts demise and cancellation of roots, but today should be the goal of the Kurdish press and its holy is the actual participation to build a free and prosperous democratic society and in order to consolidate the foundations of society civil and free from all forms of violence. "
