Held today under the auspices of Dr. Haider Abadi Prime Minister launch the reform of technical and vocational education and training project in Iraq ceremony.
The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers during his speech at the opening ceremony on the importance of this project in the area of creation of a comprehensive economic development, and access to a skilled and sophisticated skills labor production,
added the Secretary General The steps to achieve comprehensive development a fast and mounting paces, pointing to the need to build a balance between the input of education and the needs of the labor market, and in line with the government program to encourage some shift to the private sector.
He also expressed his thanks for the efforts made for the success of the strategy of reform by the Prime Minister and the Office The European Union and the advisers and the Scientific Committee.
The ceremony was attended by the deans of colleges and technical institutes and representatives from UNESCO and the European Union, civil society organizations and a number of ambassadors and representatives of the private sector and the heads of some universities.
