World Bank lending to Iraq looking two billion dollars

Baghdad: Search Hoshyar Zebari, Iraqi Minister of Finance with Hafez Ghanem, World Bank Vice President and his accompanying delegation the World Bank projects in Iraq.
According to a statement issued by the Iraqi Ministry of Finance that during the meeting the two sides discussed the possibility that the World Bank provides the amount of two billion dollars allocated half to support the budget and the other half in the field of stabilization in the liberated areas that will be freed from regulation "Daash".
The statement added that it is due to a team from the World Bank visit to Iraq next month to start implementing the projects. It was Jim Yong Kim, President of the World Bank pledged to Haider al-Abadi, Iraqi Prime Minister during his visit to Washington by sending a high-level delegation to Baghdad to assess the necessary basic needs of the displaced people and the reconstruction of the liberated areas and implement emergency projects and support of government and local authorities in building capacity.
