Sahlani in an interview with "direction," he said the committee announced its refusal to clear the project during a press conference in addition to the refusal of the State Department and the federal government, pointing out that the House will issue a formal statement after discussing the implications of the project during its next meeting,
He called on Iraqis to Sahlani harmony and cooperation and solidarity for Iraq's sovereignty, adding that the executive and legislative government and all the joints that clearly rejects that the US decision.
And caused a congressional vote on the draft Inter-American Commission on Foreign Relations's decision to deal with the Sunnis and Kurds as independent states and provide them with weapons without resorting to the central government with a wave of discontent and boiling official popular and parliamentary criticism, which called on those circles to warn of the consequences of the division of the country along sectarian lines and nationalism, demanding cut ties and the abolition of the security pact with the United States.
