Cabinet approves three decades of investment in the field of electric power

Twilight News / approved by the Energy Committee in the Iraqi Council of Ministers, to give the three foreign companies investment opportunities in the field of energy production, and the establishment and maintenance of power stations.
According to a statement issued by the Office of the Chairman of the Committee Bahaa al-Araji, the latter chaired on Monday, the fifth meeting of the Energy Committee in the Council of Ministers.
The statement added that the committee decided to approve the granting of Carr Company for the production of electrical energy investment license to cycle the vehicle to stations Rumaila card (730) MW and the Shatt al-Basra terminal card (625) MW invading for 15 years with the organization of contract operation and maintenance of simple cycle for (17.5) years.
The statement said that the committee decided to approve the request of the Ministry of Electricity to proceed to contract with GE form of investment project for the establishment and maintenance workshop, while the Committee agreed to accept the comic performances of the American GE company being the manufacturer and the lowest prices and on the basis of prior approval of the Committee on Energy.
The statement noted that he got the approval of the Commission to sign an investment contract with the company to create ALDHAHIR Investment station with a capacity of 1000 MW simple cycle vehicle in southern Baghdad.
The Committee on Energy has announced, on Monday, on the transfer of some power plants to invest to support and develop the private sector in the country.
