Cabinet approves drilling 66 oil wells the West Qurna 2 field in the Basra

Council of Ministers announced during its 20 held on Tuesday agreed to drill 66 oil wells in West Qurna / 2 field located to the north of the province of Basra.
The council said in a statement briefed Radio tow a copy of it, that its 20 held today in the presence of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi included the recommendation of the Committee on Economic Affairs, on the allocation of drilling project (66) productive wells in West Qurna / 2 field tender 2013/226 hold licenses between the South Oil Company and Russian company Lukoil to ZPEC Company (Jongman oil and gas) Chinese price of its bid of $ (498 338 325) dollars, with the amount of the reserve of $ (28.28403 million) dollars, for a total amount of assignment (526 622 355) dollars.
The statement added that "the period of implementation of drilling those wells are 894 days of drilling the first well of the date, which must begin within 120 days of the effective date of the contract," pointing to the need that "the terms of the contract with the provisions of the laws and regulations in force in this regard subject."
The statement noted that today's meeting included also approve the authorization of the Minister of Displacement and Migration and increase the validity of the direct purchase of relief materials and shelter for displaced people in Anbar province, only 100 million dinars to 500 million dinars (time and one case) Notwithstanding the provisions of the Implementing Regulations general federal budget for the year 2015.
