Baghdad - Parliamentary Legal Committee approved, that the legislative power of the House of Representatives, is the only body that has the right to legislate and not the right of the Federation Council veto any law voted on, referring to the demand by some blocs within the council House of Representatives to postpone the first reading of the law Federation Council until reaching positive results, while said members of the House of Representatives and the presence of large disagreements about the law, including those related to suitability as well as the election of its members.
He said the legal committee member, Hassan Turan, in a statement to "New Morning", "The political differences lie in paragraph Union law include giving the right to the Federation Council to veto any law voted on by the House of Representatives," Adin this thing, "an encroachment on the powers of the presidency of the Council and the declaration of guardianship and this did not refer to him in the Iraqi constitution."
