A source in the Directorate of Intelligence and counter-terrorism in Basra, that the security force of the Directorate, arrested in Albrehh area located in the city center make up the five accused gang to rig the US currency of $ 100 category, and in possession of 150 thousand dollars of counterfeit currency.
The source, who requested anonymity, in a press statement on Monday, an officer of high rank, that the gang has $ 30 million in US counterfeit currency, and that the large sums of money brought from the capital, Baghdad, and are converted in Basra to the Iraqi currency, were arrested elements in the light of accurate intelligence.
